EIF5A2 and cervical cancer: Studies have demonstrated that EIF5A2 expression is elevated in ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, and other cancers (Quanico et al. 2017; Yang et al. 2009, 2016b, 2023; Zhu et al. 2011, 2012; Meng et al. 2015; Tang et al. 2010; Cao et al. 2017; Khosravi et al. 2014, 2016; Chen et al. 2018; Huang et al. 2016; Zheng et al. 2020; Li et al. 2014), and plays a pivotal role in many biological processes, such as tumor formation, growth, and metastasis.
