Next, to evaluate the C5 signature in additional cohorts of patients with SLE and other autoimmune diseases, we performed a deconvolution analysis using publicly available bulk RNA-seq data of CXCR3+ Th1, CCR4+ Th2, CCR6+ Th17, and CXCR5+ Tfh cells from 495 donors, including healthy controls and patients with 337 autoimmune diseases (31, 32). Here, C5 is linked to autoimmune disease.
