PLXNA3 and gastric cancer: These findings were supported by transcriptomic data from the Human Protein Atlas, which reported markedly higher expression of PLXNA3 in gastrointestinal tumors relative to normal counterparts—colorectal cancer (9.5), gastric cancer (9.2), and rectal cancer (8.7), compared to corresponding normal tissues (7.2, 6.8, and 2.1, respectively) (Figure 5D).
