We found several genes regulated at 28 days after TAC that have previously been described as regulators of angiogenesis, including protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (Ptpn1, 1.5-fold up), cell cycle inhibitor p21 (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1A, Cdkn1a, 3.2-fold up), or sirtuin 1 (Sirt1, 1.4-fold down). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN1A and persistent truncus arteriosus.
