MUC16 and cancer: Our findings indicate that, for women aged over 50 years, the modified CA125-USS sequential pathways are cost-effective at willingness-to-pay of £30,000 per QALY gained, using Ovatools probabilities of 1% and 3% as the thresholds, or its equivalent age-adjusted CA125 thresholds, for subsequent USS and urgent cancer referral to gynaecology, respectively.
