The key findings include significant correlations between bowel wall thickness (BWT), and disease activity indices such as the Simple Endoscopic Score for Crohn's Disease (SES‐CD), Crohn's Disease Activity Index (CDAI), and inflammatory biomarkers such as erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), and C‐reactive protein (CRP), and fecal calprotectin (FC), as well as vascularization (Limberg score) with SES‐CD, CDAI, and ESR. Here, CRP is linked to Crohn disease.
