CD40LG and liver disorder: In addition to higher total IgM and IgG antibody titres (Figure S1A–D), we found that anti‐MAA IgM antibody levels in the serum of patients with cirrhotic ALD were elevated in individuals with more severe liver disease, as stratification based on the Child–Pugh score (CHILD) and the model for end‐stage liver disease (MELD) score indicated significantly higher anti‐MAA IgM antibody titres between different staging (Figure 1A,B).
