SESN2 and Hashimoto thyroiditis: An increase in TSH level increased the risk of developing Hashimoto’s disease by 2.844 times (95% confidence interval: 1.834–4.41, P < 0.001), while a decrease in serum SESN2 level increased the risk of the disease by 0.789 times (95% confidence interval: 0.658–0.947, P = 0.011).
