Interestingly, the correlation analysis presented in (Figure 2C) highlights significant associations between KCa3.1 (encoded by KCNN4) expression and some of the key proteins, in part identified as interactors of human KCa3.1 in the BioGRID database (https://thebiogrid.org) (Balut et al. 2010; Guo et al. 2014; Huttlin et al. 2021), involved in tumour progression, signalling, and cellular adhesion in PAAD. This evidence concerns the gene KCNN4 and neoplasm.
