Despite being rare, metastasis to the brain in RAC patients is frequently associated with lung metastasis, young age, and mutation [20]. The higher incidence of brain metastasis in female RAC patients is supported by Zhu et al. as well [21]. According to this study, KRAS mutations were more common in adenocarcinoma, while BRAF mutations were more frequent in female patients. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is adenocarcinoma.
