The analysis revealed that high-risk patients were more sensitive to agents like vorinostat (a HDAC inhibitor), cytarabine (a chemotherapy drug commonly used in the treatment of various types of leukemia), RO-3306 (a small molecule CDK1 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 1) inhibitor), bortezomib and lenalidomide (targeted therapies used in the treatment MM). This evidence concerns the gene HDAC9 and leukemia.
