The National Comprehensive Cancer Network’s (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines for breast cancer management recommend neoadjuvant therapy for patients with inoperable breast cancer or patients with operable breast cancer, including those with HER-2 positive or triple negative breast cancer staged at T ≥ 2 or N > 1, those with large primary tumors who wish to breast conserving, those with positive lymph nodes, or those requiring time to determine a surgical plan. Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
