Several top genes, including Bhlhe23, Cpne5, Gopc, Rasgrp2, and Satb2 (up‐regulated) and Alx1, Ccni, Prickle3, and Prmt7 (down‐regulated), are involved in neuronal development and function, and others, such as Cpne5, Omd, Prokr2, and Stag3 (up‐regulated) have been previously associated with cognitive decline and AD. This evidence concerns the gene PRMT7 and Alzheimer disease.
