INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: For insulin and C-peptide, although no within-group comparisons reached statistical significance in the HC or T2D groups, a modest but significant decrease in the iAUC for C-peptide was observed in the OB group after pelemir-enriched bread consumption (median: 10.8 [6.0–24.8] vs. 11.1 [5.1–19.5] ng.min/mL; p = 0.05).
