In the non-obese population with PCOS, 2 h insulin in the OGTT remained a significant positive predictor of DHEAS (p < 0.0001), independent of age and BMI, and it was also significantly correlated with DHEAS in stepwise linear regression models adjusted for age, BMI, 2 h blood glucose and TT or FAI (p < 0.0001 and p < 0.0001, respectively) (Table 5).
