In a case study in a high-risk prostate carcinoma (Gleason score 9 (4 + 5), initial prostate specific antigen (PSA) level 7 ng/mL), Eder et al. [61] showed results of preoperative PET/CT imaging at one hour after intravenous administration of 68Ga-Glu-urea-Lys-(HE)3-HBED-CC-IRDye800CW (a derivative of 68Ga-PSMA-914) and subsequent RA fluorescence imaging (DaVinci Firefly camera) revealing strong tracer uptake of the primary tumor located in the left prostate lobe. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and prostate carcinoma.
