Patients with acute COVID-19-induced myocarditis often have elevated troponin T, CK, and NT-proBNP and a range of inflammatory markers including C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, D-dimer, ferritin, fibrinogen, facultatively also von-Willebrand-factor antigen/activity, and various positive autoimmune parameters.
