Here, we have shown that the inhibition of miR-27a-3p and miR-155-5p interfered with nutrient uptake and expression of metabolism genes and modulated pathways involved in tumor progression through the downregulation of transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) and its partners and its relationship with the hypoxic state in the A172 human glioblastoma cell line, derived from the brain tissue of a 53-year-old patient.
