In RCC cells, seven genes (BRMS1L, CPEB3, DNAJB9, KIF3B, NFIB, PTPRJ, RBL2) are directly regulated by at least one miRNA from the miR-106b-25 cluster, and two genes–BRMS1L and NFIB–are simultaneously targeted by all three studied microRNAs. This evidence concerns the gene KIF3B and renal cell carcinoma.
