In further support of the negative role of DUSP1 in supporting lung cancer cell proliferation, treatment of mice with a γ-secretase inhibitor (LY-411575) reduced KRas(G12V)-driven NSCLC growth, while upregulating DUSP1 protein level and decreasing ERK1/2 phosphorylation. Here, DUSP1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
