This is consistent with another study in which it was shown that most of the apparently normal glands, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and low-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) samples show high DUSP1 expression, while DUSP1 expression levels are low or even absent in high-grade PIN and PC IHC samples [81]. Here, DUSP1 is linked to pachyonychia congenita.
