To investigate whether the metabolic suppression observed in murine models extends to human systems, we conducted a series of experiments utilizing the human MSC line HS-5, which was used in monoculture (HS-5) and cocultured with normal peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and AML cell lines (MOLM-13 and HL-60) for 5 days, and then induced AML-associated MSCs (iAML-MSC) were sorted (CD90+) using Fluorescence Activated Cell Sorting (FACS) (Supplementary Figure S3).
