In fact, on the one hand, several studies on LPS-stimulated macrophages provided evidence for the anti-inflammatory properties of CAP, which include the inhibition of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α production [76,77]; on the other hand, it has been also reported that CAP supports IL-6 secretion in human bronchiolar epithelial (BEAS-2B) [78] and in TNF-α-stimulated PC-3 prostate cancer cell line [79].
