IBD induction resulted in a non-significant increase in IL-23 colonic tissue levels on day 2, but a significant (p < 0.01, p < 0.001) rise was observed on days 4 and 7 of IBD, reaching 127.59 ± 5.46 and 94.54 ± 10.63 pg/mg of protein, respectively (IBD group, without BSB). This evidence concerns the gene IL37 and inflammatory bowel disease.
