In Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) BCP-ALL, the incorporation of ABL tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) with blinatumomab (CD3/CD19 bispecific T-cell engager) has shown remarkable efficacy, with some studies reporting molecular response rates in the range of 90–100% and long-term survival exceeding 80% without the need for intensive chemotherapy or allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT). The gene discussed is ABL1; the disease is acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
