Hypo-methylated differentially methylated region that is adjacent to the PR binding site (PRBS) of the RANKL gene allows PR/MED12-G44D binding to the PRBS that promotes expression of RANKL and drives the stem cell proliferation and leiomyoma growth through the RANKL–RANK pathway [79,80,81]. This evidence concerns the gene MED12 and leiomyoma.
