Specifically, the serum LH level in the PCOS group was significantly higher than in the control group (4.52 ± 0.61 mIU/mL vs. 1.62 ± 0.37 mIU/mL, p < 0.001), and similarly, the serum T level in the PCOS group was also significantly elevated (16.92 ± 1.26 ng/mL vs. 5.37 ± 0.74 ng/mL, p < 0.001). Here, PLOD1 is linked to polycystic ovary syndrome.
