In patients with RA, JAK inhibitors were associated with a 31.0% higher risk of VTE compared with TNF antagonists (HR, 1.31 [95% CI, 1.07-1.60]), with moderate heterogeneity; in contrast, in patients with IBD, there was no significant difference in the risk of VTE (HR, 0.70 [95% CI, 0.05-10.49]). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and rheumatoid arthritis.
