Figures 2E and 2F (e-bottom for AIN and f-bottom for UIN) illustrates the overall structure of the AIN und UNI, with zoom-in views (top panels in Figures 2E and 2F) depicting two of these 22 genes, the Potassium Channel Tetramerization Domain Containing 12 (KCTD12), which is associated with bipolar disorder,39 and the TNF Receptor Superfamily Member 1B (TNFRSF1B) associated with depression40. These two genes exhibit substantially different connection patterns, with only 2 edges common to both networks for the two genes (dashed lines in the zoom-in view in Figures 2E and 2F). This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF1B and bipolar disorder.
