CRP and diabetes mellitus: As presented in Table 1, individuals with higher serum albumin levels wereyounger, were more likely to be males, had a lower prevalence of diabetes andall-cause mortality, uses significantly less hypoglycemic drugs, had lower BMI,lower levels of white blood cell, platelets, fibrinogen, CRP, FPG, HbA1c, andhigher levels of DBP, triglycerides, total cholesterol, hemoglobin, abnormalliver function and eGFR (p < 0.05).
