CRP and hypertensive disorder: Laboratory results revealed leukocytosis (25.5 x 103/μL), elevated C-reactive protein (CRP; 186 mg/L) (Table 1), abnormal urinalysis (Table 2), and an electrocardiogram showing atrial fibrillation with rapid ventricular response (congestive heart failure, hypertension, age, diabetes mellitus, stroke, vascular disease, age, sex score of 3) (Figure 1).
