Cell-free DNA profiling from 289 advanced-stage METΔex14 patients revealed 10 co-occurring alterations, of which NF1, KRAS, and NRAS, key components of the RAS–MAPK pathway, displayed a higher frequency of co-occurrence in METΔex14 patients when compared with an independent cohort of EGFR-mutated NSCLC [72]. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
