REST and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Previous data showed that Erianin has a broad-spectrum anti-tumor effect, including regulating signaling pathways such as PI3K/AKT (Xu et al., 2021; Zhang et al., 2021), REST/LRSAM1 (Mansuer et al., 2024), NRF2 (Xiang et al., 2021), and MEK1/2 (Zhu et al., 2025), etc. These mechanisms inhibit the proliferation across multiple cancer types, such as lung, colon, breast, and pancreatic cancer, and prevent the occurrence and progress of tumors.
