Given the critical role of the NF-κB signaling pathway in B cell activation and the specific involvement of cellular reticuloendotheliosis (c-Rel), a member of the NF-κB family, in plasma cell differentiation and high-affinity antibody production (20), we further validated the expression levels of the NF-κB/c-Rel signaling pathway in MG patients based on the aforementioned proteomic results using western blot. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is myasthenia gravis.
