Strikingly, survival analyses indicated that elevated infiltration of both CD8+ T cells (HR = 1.55, p = 0.0127; Figure 4C) and M1 macrophages (HR = 1.41, p = 0.05; Figure 4D) was correlated with poorer clinical outcomes in GBM patients, a finding that contrasts with their conventionally anti‐tumoral roles in various cancer types. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and glioblastoma.
