Panx2 was highly expressed in tumor tissues of colorectal cancer (Zhang K. et al., 2024), bladder cancer (Liao et al., 2020), clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) (Kim et al., 2019), breast cancer (Fish et al., 2018; Qian et al., 2021), esophageal cancer (Zhang D. et al., 2021), and cholangiocarcinoma (Liu et al., 2019), and its highly expression was significantly associated with the poor prognosis of patients.
