ADCK5 and lung carcinoma: To date, one study on ADCK5 hinted a role in invasion andmigration of lung cancer cells through the SOX9 (family of SRY-relatedhigh-mobility-group box factor)-PTTG1 (pituitary tumor transforminggene-1) pathway. Moreover, some otherstudies have inferred a role in phosphorylating Tau protein and cholestatic intestinal injury. Furthermore, its paralogs ADCK1–4 havebeen noted to play essential roles in coenzyme Q10 biosynthesis, mitochondria dynamics, cancers, and psychiatric disorders.
