Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated disease (MOGAD) is an inflammatory demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system (CNS) that typically presents with optic neuritis, transverse myelitis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), and cerebral cortical encephalitis [1,2]. The gene discussed is MOG; the disease is acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.
