Specifically, the Ro52+/Ro60+ subgroup had an elevated risk of sicca symptoms (OR 2.49, 95% CI 1.06–5.94, p = 0.036) and ILD (OR 4.14, 95% CI 1.71–10.68, p = 0.002), with similarly increased odds of ILD seen in the Ro52+/Ro60− group (OR 4.49, 95% CI 1.58–12.78, p = 0.004). This evidence concerns the gene TRIM21 and interstitial lung disease.
