TGFB1 and neoplasm: In recent years, it has been found that CTHRC1 is abnormally expressed in various solid tumors and is closely related to tumor invasion, metastasis, and survival prognosis.[7] Some studies suggest that CTHRC1 creates conditions for the occurrence and development of carcinogenesis by reducing synthesis of the extracellular matrix.[8] At the same time, CTHRC1 belongs to a class of TGF-β-sensitive receptor inhibitors, and CTHRC1 ligands combine with the corresponding type I and type II receptors to produce signals.
