Further experimental validation demonstrates that QPSM promotes NAD+ synthesis by upregulating Nampt, decreases NAD+ consumption by downregulating PARP1, alleviates oxidative stress, reduces Oxi-CaMKII and RyR2ser2814 expression to mitigate atrial cellular calcium overload, prolongs atrial myocyte APD, increases ICaL, suppresses myocardial cell electrical remodeling, and diminishes AF susceptibility. This evidence concerns the gene PARP1 and atrial fibrillation.
