AMD patients had significantly lower serum 25(OH)D levels than controls (22.98 ± 7.30 vs. 26.12 ± 9.81 ng/mL, t=2.613, p=0.013, Table 1), and significantly higher CRP(0.24 ± 0.39 vs. 0.2 ± 0.19mg/L, t=-1.05, p= 0.048, Table 1). Here, CRP is linked to age-related macular degeneration.
