The main findings of this study are as follows: 1) a intense negative correlation was determined between ELST‐blue score and the apoA2‐i Index in patients with ECP (r = ‐0.704, p = 0.002), 2) epigastric pain tended to be more severe in patients with ECP (3.20 ± 0.37) than in those in non‐ECP (2.33 ± 0.29), albeit there were no significant differences in other FD symptoms or in any other items of the GSRS between two groups. This evidence concerns the gene APOA2 and Fabry disease.
