As it has been proven by different studies that hyperglycemia targets and disturbs several biochemical pathways linked to ROS production (Lee et al. 2024), we can link the glucose‐lowering ability of all the seed extracts to the presence of antioxidant bioactives like Lupeol in the seed extract of Citrullus lanatus, which improves insulin sensitivity and controls hyperglycemia by inhibiting the activities of PTP1B, α‐glucosidase, and α‐amylase enzymes (Sen et al. 2024).
