MAP2K7 and neoplasm: In the setting of alloreactivity, in vitro studies have shown that MEK inhibition suppressed naive alloreactive T cells while sparing antiviral responses, and in vivo studies have shown its therapeutic potential in a murine model of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), where MEK inhibition selectively suppressed GVHD without compromising graft-versus-tumor (GVT) effects.9
