Our findings, which indicate that higher MYC target gene activation is associated with increased interactions with TME, and that high MYC levels facilitate communication with other chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells, were validated using data from 13,280 cells including both CLL and TME before ibrutinib treatment from the Rendeiro et al. (2020) (Supplementary Figures S4a,b). The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
