Converse to thephenotypes in CDH13-AS2-KO HUVECs (Figure.4), HUVECs with CDH13-AS2-CRISPRa had higherCDH13 expression increased migration and proliferation, and decreasedapoptosis and monocyte adhesion (Figure.5b–5g, Extended Data Figure 5b).Thus, the enhanced level of CDH13-AS2 increased CDH13expression and led to atheroprotective endothelial phenotypes, which might mitigate therisk of CAD.
