The pathological findings from the initial draft were diagnostic of “TSH pituitary adenoma.” Immunohistochemistry results were positive for ER (estrogen receptor), Ki-67 (index approximately 1%), TSH, Syn (synaptophysin), CgA (chromogranin A), and were negative for P53, ACTH, PRL, GH (growth hormone), LH, FSH (Figures 3A–E). This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and pituitary gland adenoma.
