HLA-B*15:02 is associated with Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) induced by carbamazepine (Hung et al., 2006; Wang et al., 2011), oxcarbazepine and phenytoin (Locharernkul et al., 2008; Kim et al., 2018), and lamotrigine (Zeng et al., 2015). Here, HLA-B is linked to toxic epidermal necrolysis.
