Materials and Methods: Patients diagnosed with Chronic Hepatitis B who underwent liver biopsy and were found to have liver fibrosis associated with chronic hepatitis B between August 2018 and July 2024 were included in this retrospective comparative case-control study and liver function tests, INR, alpha-fetoprotein levels, hemogram parameters, kidney function tests, and cholesterol levels at the time of biopsy were recorded. The gene discussed is AFP; the disease is chronic hepatitis B virus infection.
