Although much of the research on PCDH7 pathogenic variants has primarily focused on its role in cancer [30,31], genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have linked PCDH7 to various neurological disorders, including epilepsy [32,33], schizophrenia [34], PTSD [34], and childhood aggression [35].
